Isle of Wight Festival is one of the UK’s longest-running music festivals, each year bringing over 90,000 music fans to the island for a weekend of rock, pop and dance. The Isle of Wight Festival has a top-tier lineup – featuring Snow Patrol, David Guetta, Liam Gallagher and Duran Duran – while the festival is also great for families, with the lineup including a diverse programme of theatre, film, comedy, activities and games.
All Bar Staff must be over 18 years of age, due to licensing requirements.
The bars will be incredibly busy throughout the events therefore you must be able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Shifts will be approximately 8- 14 hours a day, depending on the demands of the event.
Food is provided by our client/bar operator, for this event you will receive a packed lunch and a meal voucher every working day. Vegetarian options will be available but unfortunately not all dietary requirements can be catered for. We recommend bringing your own snacks for throughout the weekend. Please bring a reusable water bottle to refill throughout the event.
Pay Rate:
£10.50 ( £9.37ph + £1.13ph holiday pay)

Camping
There is staff camping.
You will need a good quality tent and sleeping bag (that you will take home at the end of the event and reuse), no large tents allowed due to limited staff camping space. Bring toiletries, wellies/boots, clothes to keep you warm and dry and a battery pack (there will not be a phone charging point). Please make sure you keep valuables to an absolute minimum – as with any festival please don’t leave valuables in your tent when you are not there. HAP Solutions cannot accept responsibility for lost or stolen items.
Please pack light – the walk to the campsite can be long and you will have to be able to carry all your belongings!
Please leave nothing behind, take your tent and belongings with you and always dispose of all rubbish before leaving site.
Transport
There will be staff coaches to/from: Southampton, Manchester, London & Birmingham
All staff coming from the mainland will get on our staff ferry and coach at Southampton.
Please call the office promptly on your Call Back Day to ensure you get a space on your preferred coach.
You can also make your own way to/from the event if you live on the island. If you do not live on the island you will need to meet us at the ferry port in Southampton, we cannot provide parking in Southampton.
Uniform
Uniform – Staff must wear plain black, casual clothing. Minimal branding and comfortable footwear. Such as: black jeans/trousers/shorts/skirts/leggings (no tracksuits), along with black shoes/pumps/trainers. You need to wear a blank black t-shirt; however, you should bring a dark jumper or hoodie to wear underneath as it might get cold.
Heels, flip flops, or open toed shoes are NOT allowed on the bar.
