Bar Staff required for Isle of Wight Festival.

All Bar Staff must be over 18 years of age due to licensing requirements.

The bars will be incredibly busy throughout the event therefore, you must be able to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Please note this is a camping shows and working here long hours are expected, ranging from  10 – 16 hour shifts

Pay Rate: £11.50 ph

PLEASE NOTE: All staff must be fully conversant in the English Language, as many positions involve interacting with customers. Additionally, English proficiency is required for training and health & safety purposes.

Food is provided by our client/bar operator; for this event, you will receive packed lunch and food token every working day. Vegetarian options will be available but unfortunately, not all dietary requirements can be catered for. We recommend bringing your own snacks for throughout the weekend. Please bring a reusable water bottle to refill throughout the event.

Camping

There is staff camping.

You will need a good quality tent and sleeping bag (that you will take home at the end of the event and reuse); no large tents are allowed due to limited staff camping space. Bring toiletries, wellies/boots, clothes to keep you warm and dry and a battery pack (there will not be a phone charging point). Please ensure you keep valuables to an absolute minimum – as with any festival, please don’t leave valuables in your tent when you are not there. hap Solutions cannot accept responsibility for lost or stolen items.

Please pack light – the walk to the campsite can be long, and you will have to be able to carry all your belongings!

Please leave nothing behind, take your tent and belongings with you, and always dispose of all rubbish before leaving the site.

Transport

There will be staff coaches to/from: Southampton, London, Birmingham and Manchester. Free ferry ticket included. 

Please call the office promptly on your Call Back Day to ensure you have space on your preferred coach.

You can also make your own way to/from the event. There will be staff parking details provided at a later date. 

IMPORTANT – Please note, we do not reimburse for travel arranged pre-event. Shift times are not guaranteed and can be subject to change.

Uniform

Staff must wear plain black casual clothing. Minimal branding and comfortable footwear. Such as black jeans/trousers/shorts/skirts/leggings (no tracksuits), and black shoes/pumps/trainers. You need to wear a blank black T-shirt; however, you should bring a dark jumper or hoodie to wear underneath as it might get cold.

Heels, flip-flops, crocs or open-toed shoes are NOT allowed.
