2019: 11,500 staff placed at 150+ festivals, 350+ concerts & events and 100+ sporting events – that’s millions of pints poured, hundreds of thousands of hours worked, countless friendships made and our biggest year yet!

And our highlights? Where do we start!

January and February would usually be quiet months for us event wise: we spend the time planning and preparing for the summer, but not this year! We supplied staff to our regular venues; Printworks, Alexandra Palace, Wrexham AFC, Twickenham Stadium and Southampton FC, alongside some exciting one offs such as the How To Train Your Dragon Movie Premiere and multiple Market Research Projects.

We roared into March & April with huge announcements: we were supplying bartenders to Snowbombing in Austria, sent over 200 staff to the Massive Attack gig at the iconic Bristol Steel Yard, released our 2019 Summer Line-up with 150+ Festivals and Events (which, of course, doubled by September!) AND we started our Interview Campaign, conducting over 14,000 face to face interviews across the country, in just 6 months!

Two nostalgic tours began in May, with the Spice Girls and Let’s Rock The 80’s, followed by festivals such as Brighton’s Funk & Soul Weekender, London’s All Points East, Glasgow’s Riverside Festival and Cardiff’s Inside Out: all perfect for experienced team members to reunite and for new staff to cut their teeth. With tumultuous weather, June was hectic as usual, but with two of our biggest festivals Download & Isle Of Wight and many others such as Field Day, Might Hoopla & Nocturne, we still brought the goods and had an amazing (if damp) time in the process!

July & August held strong as our busiest months of the year, with festival highlights of Reading & Leeds, Electric Picnic, Wireless, Love Supreme, British Summer Time, LoveBox, TRNSMT, Latitiude, Kendal Calling, Tramlines, Wilderness, Ed Sheeran’s tour and Glasgow & Edinburgh Sessions- to name just a few!!! Staffing 10+ festivals in a weekend is our bread and butter: we supply 10-1,000 bar staff to most of the UK’s & Ireland’s festivals and have experienced Ops Team based across the country, so they are all in good hands! Many of our bar staff join us to work one event and end up sticking around the work the whole summer; July & August events really prove this as we begin to see familiar faces in every field.

September & October always begin a little sombre for us, as we say goodbye to our Summer Ops, Management, Office & Core Staff Teams; but there is no rest for the wicked, as we excitedly go straight into sporting season! This year we have supplied regular staff to stadiums up & down the country, but also to one off events such as the Cricket World Cup, The Ashes, The Walker Cup, Yorkshire Cycling Championship, and many others! We also saw in the last of the festivals for the year, with Oktoberfest, Peaky Blinders, Soultown, Gunnersville, Oktoberfest, Westfest and elrow Halloween!

‘Winding down’ (for us!), November & December are our time to reflect, plan, reach out to clients and of course, party! We still supplied staff to fair number of events at our regular venues, and many one offs, including Bonfire night celebrations at both Crystal & Alexandra Palaces and plenty of Christmas Hospitality events such as Winter Wonderland & Blenheim Palace. The office team took some well deserved time off over Christmas, but not without staffing Boxing Day matches at Wrexham AFC & Southampton FC, Christmas matches at Twickenham & Worcester Warriors and NYE parties at Printworks & BassFest Sheffield.

Thank You!

Over the year we supplied hardworking Bar Staff, Managers, Supervisors, Bar Backs, Cocktail Staff, Waiting on Staff, Hosts & Hostesses, Event Staff and Market Research Staff for over 50 clients. We changed barrels, poured pints, flung cocktails, served wine, welcomed guests, checked tickets and collated research- but most of all, we loved doing it! We wouldn’t be anywhere without our incredible team and wonderful clients, so thank you all!

Now, 2020, what have you got in store for us?!
