There are weekends you work and forget, and then there are weekends like this one.
At the weekend, our hap Flexi team were behind the bars at BST Hyde Park for Pitbull’s headline show – and by the end of the night, BST Hyde Park had broken a Guinness World Record. What started as a busy festival shift turned into a moment none of our staff will forget in a hurry.
During the show, an official Guinness World Records™ attempt took place for the largest gathering of people wearing bald caps. The final count? 22,141 bald-Es!
Our staff were right in the middle of it. Serving drinks, keeping the bars running, and watching one of the most memorable moments Hyde Park has ever seen unfold in front of them. It is the kind of thing that reminds you why working at live events is unlike anything else.
BST Hyde Park is one of the most iconic festival venues in the world, and getting to be part of a weekend like this, not as a ticket holder, but as part of the team that makes it all happen, is something pretty special.
