Here at hap, we’re all about giving back to those in need – especially during these tough times. To keep everyone’s spirits high during the festive season, for example, we dug out our Christmas jumpers in support of the Seashell Trust.
This year, we wanted to step up our efforts and do something bigger for the local community. And that’s exactly what we’ll be doing! Over the next 12 months, we’ll be raising money for Beechwood Cancer Care, and we hope you’ll join us in supporting the cause.
Who is Beechwood?
Beechwood is a local charity based in Stockport that provides free support to those living with cancer or a life-limiting illness, as well as their families and carers.
Their mission is to offer quality care and support services for cancer patients, and they’ve been successfully doing this for over three decades. Of course, this wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of their donors and supporters.
Why Beechwood?
In December, the team at hap voted on a charity to support throughout 2022, and the decision to raise money for Beechwood was unanimous. It’s a cause that’s very close to home; they were there to support members of our team and their families when they needed it the most, so it makes sense for us to give back to them.
In the coming months, we’ll be organising some exciting fundraisers for the charity, and we already have one in the works…

Our first fundraiser event
This March, we’ll be tackling the Yorkshire Three Peaks to raise money for Beechwood. For the unfamiliar, this 24-mile challenge takes on the mountains of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, and takes around 12 hours to complete. Our goal is to raise £2,500 by the end of March, and we need your help to achieve this!
We’ve recently set up a GoFundMe page and would greatly appreciate your support. It doesn’t have to be much – every penny counts!
