Free return staff coaches from Manchester, Birmingham and Bristol!

Downloaders, we couldn’t be more hyped to announce that we will be running a pilot event as part of the second phase of the Government’s Event Research Programme. It’s gonna be a 10,000 capacity camping festival in Donington Park!

This is a Test Event and the data will help to ensure that events later this summer can go ahead safely. You must agree to adhere to the Covid-safe protocol in place at the event. You will also have to take a Covid Test prior to the event, full details will be given at the point of booking.

All Bar Staff must be over 18 years of age, due to licensing requirements.

The bars will be incredibly busy throughout the events therefore you must be able to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Shifts will be approximately 8- 14 hours a day, depending on the demands of the event.

Food is provided by our client/bar operator, for this event you will receive a packed lunch and a meal voucher every working day. Vegetarian options will be available but unfortunately not all dietary requirements can be catered for. We recommend bringing your own snacks for throughout the weekend. Please bring a reusable water bottle to refill throughout the event.

We have now added staff coaches from Manchester, Birmingham and other city TBC – secure your place now & call the office first thing on your Call Back Day to make sure you get a seat on your preferred coach. These coaches will be leaving on Thursday 17th and returning Monday 21st June. You must have a negative COVID test before you get on the staff coach.

You can also make your own way to and from the event. Staff parking will be available. Please check your journey before you secure your place to work. Staff can arrive onsite either late Thursday, or very early Friday morning, exact times TBC.

Pay Rates:

Aged 18 – 20: £7.96ph ( £7.10ph + £0.86ph holiday pay)

Aged 21 – 22: £9.37 (£8.36ph +  £1.01ph holiday pay)

Aged 23+: £9.99 (£8.91ph + £1.08ph holiday pay)

Camping

You must camp in the staff campsite.

You will need a good quality tent and sleeping bag (that you will take home at the end of the event and reuse), no large tents allowed due to limited staff camping space. Bring toiletries, wellies/boots, clothes to keep you warm and dry and a battery pack (there will not be a phone charging point). Please make sure you keep valuables to an absolute minimum – as with any festival please don’t leave valuables in your tent when you are not there. HAP Solutions cannot accept responsibility for lost or stolen items.

Please pack light – the walk to the campsite can be long and you will have to be able to carry all your belongings!

Please leave nothing behind, take your tent and belongings with you and always dispose of all rubbish before leaving site.

Uniform

Uniform – Staff must wear plain black, casual clothing. Minimal branding and comfortable footwear. Such as: black jeans/trousers/shorts/skirts/leggings (no tracksuits), along with black shoes/pumps/trainers. You need to wear a blank black t-shirt; however, you should bring a dark jumper or hoodie to wear underneath as it might get cold.

Heels, flip flops, or open toed shoes are NOT allowed on the bar.
