Set in an intimate woodland corner of Peckham Rye Park with a hand-picked programme that avoids trends in favour of the organic and soulful sounds dance music was built upon – GALA is an inclusive party with a renowned sense of community.
Expanding in 2021 to a two-day offering, GALA will bring together true legends of our scene alongside local and emerging favourites – topped off with some of the best-loved chefs, restaurants, breweries, record labels and party brands in South London.
All Bar Staff must be over 18 years of age, due to licensing requirements.
The bars will be incredibly busy throughout the events therefore you must be able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Shifts will be approximately 8- 14 hours a day, depending on the demands of the event.
We recommend bringing your own snacks for throughout the weekend. Please bring a reusable water bottle to refill throughout the event.
Pay Rates:
Aged 18 – 20: £7.96ph ( £7.10ph + £0.86ph holiday pay)
Aged 21 – 22: £9.37 (£8.36ph + £1.01ph holiday pay)
Aged 23+: £9.99 (£8.91ph + £1.08ph holiday pay)

Transport
You must make your own way to and from this event. There will be no staff parking, please use Public Transport or source your own parking.
Uniform
Uniform – Staff must wear plain black, casual clothing. Minimal branding and comfortable footwear. Such as: black jeans/trousers/shorts/skirts/leggings (no tracksuits), along with black shoes/pumps/trainers. You need to wear a blank black t-shirt; however, you should bring a dark jumper or hoodie to wear underneath as it might get cold.
Heels, flip flops, or open toed shoes are NOT allowed on the bar.
