We have announced our first festival of 2022…Snowbombing is in the Austrian ski resort of Mayrhofen. Snowbombing is a world-famous annual winter sport and music festival held in early April. The festival showcases some of the most prominent artists in music, surrounded by some of Europe’s beautiful mountains. This is an excellent opportunity, and in return for volunteering on the (working) holiday of a lifetime, you will receive free entrance to the festival, return flights from Dublin airport or London, accommodation, x2 meals a day, and 3-day lift passes!
Snowbombing is very different to our regular Festivals in the UK…This festival is in the snow; therefore, what you will pack will look A LOT different!

Now let’s talk about what you need to pack!
Warm clothes are a MUST. You don’t want to be packing shorts and a T-shirt for this festival! And don’t forget your passport!
For Work:
– All black as usual, black jeans/trousers, blank black t-shirt & black hoodie.
– Footwear: Bring a decent pair of waterproof boots.
– A warm waterproof jacket.
– Layer up! This will keep you warmer than relying on one big jacket.
For the Slopes and Free Time:
– Waterproofs: ski pants and a jacket are the best.
– Sun cream: the climate is very deceiving…It’s easy to get burnt, even if you think there isn’t much sun; the altitude makes you more susceptible to the UV.
– Sunglasses/Goggles: same as above.
– Towel and Swimwear: so you can make good use of all the fantastic swimming pools and well-being facilities.
– Board/Ski: These are available to hire in the resort, or you can bring your own (this will have to be added by you, don’t forget equipment hire is free!).
– Luggage Allowance is one ‘hold bag’.
