The staff camping scene
Ever been camping before? If you’re a festival veteran then you don’t need us to big it up for you. But if it’s your first time, we can guarantee it’s a lot of fun, super sociable and has an atmosphere like no other.
In truth, staff camping isn’t much different. When you work with hap, you get to pitch up in our dedicated campsite, full of like-minded people who want to work, play and get paid. And with full access to the festival when you’re off shift, you can soak up the music (and hopefully the rays) to get the best of both worlds.
Despite recent rule changes, COVID-19 hasn’t disappeared. That’s why keeping you safe remains at the top of our agenda, so you can have the best possible work and camping experience.
Your safety, our priority
The relaxation of government restrictions meant many of this summer’s festivals got the green light. But we won’t be taking a step back when it comes to ensuring the health and safety of our entire team.
Each festival organiser produces COVID-19 protocols that are specifically designed for their event. While we’ll be following the guidelines of every venue we work with, as our duty of care to our team, and regardless of festival policy, you can expect hap to:
- Suggest that you take a lateral flow test before you travel
- Encourage you to regularly wash and sanitise your hands
- Accommodate face masks to those who wish to wear one
- Support social distancing where possible
