It’s official, festival season 2022 has begun! Those who’ve worked with hap previously will know what to expect. But for many of you, this summer will be your glorious debut, representing the best festival staffing team in the UK!

One thing’s for sure, you’re in for a great time, and you’ll meet some fantastic people along the way. But before you drop into your first event, we wanted to take this opportunity to let you know about the golden rules we hap-pers live by, and how we use these to support you throughout your assignment.

Here’s how they manifest within our festival sector to make your experience a memorable one!

Support and care on-site

Our staff campsites and bars are super safe places to be, and the hap setup is a really simple one to get your head around. But for added support, our on-site operations team will be there whenever you need a quick chat, whether it’s to share an issue or ask a question.

On arrival, they’ll carry out briefings and guide you on everything you need, from campsite safety essentials to shift allocations. With their help, you’ll always know what’s going on, where you need to be, and when you need to be there. And don’t forget, you can approach the team at any time, they’re a friendly old bunch!

Helpful information

The hap team is always prepared for anything, and you should be too! If you’ve been to a festival before, you’ll know all about the packing essentials. But when you’re a festival staff member, there’s a few extra considerations you need to make, and an itinerary to be aware of.

That’s where our communications team comes in. We’re always posting handy guides on our website that give you a great overview of what to expect. And in the run up to your assignment, we’ll be staying in contact via phone and email with all the need-to-knows about the festival itself, logistics, arrival times and the rest!

Constant communication

We’re on call whenever you need us. Before the fest, any specific queries or general questions can be answered by reaching out via the website, or by checking any direct communication relating to your assignment for contact details. Our support centre and social media pages are also great hives of information with contact routes here, too. 

When you’re in and amongst it at the festival, we’ll give you a hap on-site mobile number. If you need to talk and our ops team isn’t within reach, you can dial in on this. We’ll also keep in touch with any updates throughout your assignment through our hap text service, so keep an eye out for any messages!
